Ellen's Wedding: Saturday 1st March 2008

Stella and Jacky were married on Saturday 25th August 2007. Stella wanted a natural, flowing hairstyle with a low sweeping fringe. And her Make-up was very natural on her skin and darker on her eyes to make them stand out.

Lingerie Photoshoot

On Friday 27th April I did the hair and make-up for this Parisian inspired lingerie photoshoot. On model Lisa I did a super glamourous smokey eye using Bobbi Brown Silk eyeshadow in "Gunmetal", Napoleon shimmer dust in "White Silver", MAC Black Khol eyeshadow in "Smoulder" and applied thick track eyelashes to complete the eye design.

Jody and Jim were married on Saturday 19th May 2007. Jody re-visited the 1940's and choose a retro make-up design that was influenced by Hollywood movie stars like Marilyn Monroe and Judy Garland.

Kylie was married on Saturday 7th April 2007 on Observatory Hill Sydney. We created a glamourous silver eye make-up, coupled with a pink, neutral gloss lip colour, enhancing Kylie's eyes and bringing out the white and silver fabric of her wedding gown.

Honghanh and George

Honghanh and George were married on Saturday 7th January 2007. Honghanh wanted a natural looking, yet flawless foundation, and a modern smokey eye in black and greys, finished off with neutral lips. Honghanh's bridesmaids wore light dusty pink dresses (see above) so I designed a soft, glamourous make-up to suit the elegant theme.

Trish and Tien were married on Saturday 7th April 2007 in Sydney's Chinese Gardens. Trish was accompanied by her two sisters and best friend, who were dressed in vibrant red cocktail styled dresses. The reception in the Terrace Room, at The National Maritime Museum.

Natural and simplistic, Sarah wanted a Make-up design that made her feel like herself, yet glamourous on her wedding day in November 2006. I used a MAC cream foundation with a blend of skin highlighters to make her skin glow in the outdoor beachside ceremony.

Leanne and Shaun- 14th October 2006

Leanne and Shaun were married in Sydney on the 14th of October (one of the hottest days in 2006). Leanne wanted to look naturally beautiful yet glamourous too. And she did just that by selecting bronze and gold eyeshadows and long individual eyelash extensions to complete the effect.
Leanne's 4 bridesmaids looked stunningly styled with teal/light-green satin dresses, which we matched by creating a modern-glam look with 2 types of green metallic shadow.

Renee Nguyen's Wedding- 30th September 2006

Renee was married on a spring morning, the 30th September 2006. She wanted a nothing more than her eyes to stand out glamourously, coupled with a perfect base. So we created this look together by using a inspirational picture of Catherine Zeta-Jones, which had smokey, sultry grey eyeshadow, a MAC base, and L'Oreal lipstick. Congratulations.

Melita and James' Wedding

I was asked to do the Hair and Make-up for this bride Melita on Saturday 18th November 2006. Melita wanted a soft yet contemporary look. So we did soft and pretty GHD waves in her hair and created a pink and bronze spring fresh make-up design to compliment her look.

Melita and James were married in a small country town called Bungendore. Where the couple celebrated their union in a small garden reception.

Fashion shoot- with MISS WORLD AUSTRALIA 2006!

The above image was taken a photoshoot with Sabrina Houssami (current Miss World Australia 2006). Sabrina is wearing a selection of Napoleon green shimmer shadows that I stock in my fashion make-up kit. This look is perfect for special events like the Racing Spring Carnival season that is just about to kick off! I am currently taking bookings for the spring events.

Glamour photo shoot

Antony Schuster from Schuster photography invited me to be the make-up artist for this glamour portrait shoot for couple Rob and Satomi on the 10th June 2006.
Satomi wanted a fresh photographic make-up that really enhanced her eyes and lips. So I did a light smokey eyes using crushed black mineral shadows, Kohl black pencils and enhanced her eyes further by using lash extensions. I used a matt MAC studio fix foundation, soft apricot blush by TMF cosmetics and finished the look with a fiery L'Oreal lip colour and JEMMA Plumpout lip enhancer.

New Winter looks

New winter looks at Mystique.

This make-up look was strongly inspired from the spanish and Latin American style. I started with a matt MAC Studio fix base foundation which is fantastic for winter. Then used a Napoleon powder blusher in brick. I wanted the eyes to be stong and sultry so I used a dark brown matt eyeshadow and glamed it up with a shimmer bronze to create a smokey eye effect. I then finished off the look with Max Factor Lipfinity everlites in ruby red on the lips.

I was asked to do the Make-up on models Andrew and Chris for this Redken Hair Competition. The entry was done by Christine's Hair Salon, Padstow.

Mystique Wins Make-up Competiton Semi Final
